Since 2016, she has been working in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Harefield Hospital near London, which specializes in heart and lung surgeries and transplants. Katarína Lenártová is a physician specializing in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. When deciding on her specialization after graduation, it was important for her to be prepared to react quickly and promptly in acute situations. Anesthesiology was the perfect fit for that.

Currently, among other things, she focuses on heart and lung transplantation. According to her, the journey she guides patients through is incredibly fascinating. Every workday is different and varied, not always cheerful, but this is part of the demanding yet fulfilling nature of her work. Outside of work, Katarína is also a caring mother of two children.
